ERVIL ANDERSON, MSW - Executive Director

Anderson has 35 years’ experience applying social work principles of assessment and advocacy to families and children in a variety of settings, including DSS and schools.  She has a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Master’s in Social Work from UNC-CH.  In her career background, Mrs. Anderson has investigated alleged child abuse cases, completed risk assessments, developed protection plans, coordinated community resources for high-risk families, prepared court reports, provided court testimony, and conducted follow-up assessments.  She knows the world of child abuse and how it works, and she has brought that extensive knowledge, plus her relationships with local agencies, into her work as Executive Director of Robin’s Nest.

 

VALERIE HARVEY, BS - Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Harvey has a Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education, plus extensive credentials in office management and fiscal affairs.

She has over 20 years’ experience in accounts payable, receivable, and collections, plus a dozen years as assistant controller with major industry, including Budget Rent-a-Car.  She also has received awards for her local volunteer work with the Caldwell Senior Center and Caldwell Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Harvey brought the organizational, technology and fiscal management skills necessary for effective operations to Robin’s Nest CAC.

ROBIN TODD-HALL, BA, MS – Counseling Therapist

Robin, a native of Caldwell County, completed her BA in Human Services and Psychology from Wingate University, and her MS in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a Licensed Psychological Associate and Licensed Professional Counselor.  She has been specializing in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and their families for 27 years, and recently completed her certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Robin delivers this model to abused children and their non-offending family members, in individual, family and group therapy, and most enjoys seeing the emotional healing of children and families at Robin’s Nest Children’s Advocacy Center.
