ERVIL ANDERSON, MSW

Executive Director

Anderson has 35 years’ experience applying social work principles of assessment and advocacy to families and children in a variety of settings, including DSS and schools.  She has a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Master’s in Social Work from UNC-CH.  In her career background, Mrs. Anderson has investigated alleged child abuse cases, completed risk assessments, developed protection plans, coordinated community resources for high-risk families, prepared court reports, provided court testimony, and conducted follow-up assessments.  She knows the world of child abuse and how it works, and she has brought that extensive knowledge, plus her relationships with local agencies, into her work as Executive Director of Robin’s Nest.
